Five weeks ago we lost Gurley indefinitely to suspension........and blood pressure levels set records across the state and the sky almost fell........

But, now, we've lost him for the rest of the season and you can almost hear crickets chirping.....

Not judging. Just observing.

Chubb is a lot more proven this time. There is your difference.

Knew Chubb was good, but didn't realize he was - already - a dominant SEC tailback. Possibly the best in the conference - right now.

That having been said, Gurley's loss hurts bigtime. Amazing to see Chubb and Gurley spell each other last night. Simply unfair to opposing defenses.

We now need Michel to get healthy and stay healthy quick.

No elephant in the room. Context matters.

When I first woke up this morning my first thought was a worry about the extent of Gurley's injury. The same worry was the last thing I thought about before I slept. The injury is a much bigger concern than was the suspension.

I want to see Todd shredding NFL defenses for years to come. I hope for, and expect, a complete recovery.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up...Chubb is very good...but..having both is an advantage that works for both in regards to performance and as far as team dynamics on offense...one makes the other better...it's a rinse repeat scenario...we have now lost that...

Michel will hopefully be ready for Tech. Also, hope ROWK is ready to rock Charelston So.

The difference between anger and sadness, perhaps.

Hopefully...and he's good, but still not Gurley... having 2 bruising backs in the backfield to swap out is a thing of beauty...

Assuming an average sized elephant..how does one, get an elephant in to a room...assuming normal sized doors?

Because it is such a terribly awful series of events that make me almost feel sick to my stomach thinking about how this all ended for Gurley. I hate it for him so much and I just want to see him go pro and get paid because he has damn well earned it. There is nothing else to say about it.

Well..no worries...he gets paid handsomely...even if he never plays another down...no tears...

But I do hate it for the team, they were and now are again without such a dangerous component of the offense..

One is something that can be controlled and the other is an expected possibility.

Don't take $$$$ and no problems.
Getting injured in a game is just part of the game.

Chubb and Michel will give us a great one-two punch against the Trade School. Chubb and Douglas will be fine next Saturday.
