For anyone that gives a shite. 7 grabs for 209 and two TD's through 3 quarters. Manziel and Evans made Sumlin. Quite possibly the most overrated coach in the country

So if he looked like shite that would make Sumlin a good coach? I don't get it.

Anyone who couldn't see he was a future Pro Bowler in college was on drugs.

My buddy got to go to closed practices before Sumlin's first year, and he kept telling me we had a future All-American named Mike Evans on our team. I hadn't even heard of him. 3-star recruit out of Galveston who played one year of high school ball. He redshirted because he was so inexperienced. Sherman definitely had a great eye.

He's on my bench. Didn't think he'd do it two weeks in a row.

I think he was actually a two star. People, including me, rag on Liucci and he gets shite like this wrong all the time but he was all over Evans nuts during the practices right before the 2012 season. Said his improvement plus this offense would make him a superstar.

Dafuq is this supposed to mean?

Without his best players, Sumlin wouldn't have been as good?

Ok, captain obvious

Good God just checked my fantasy team and he as put up almost 40 points for me today. So glad i was able to grab him with my last pick in the draft. Been my sleeper all season.

He was a basketball player that started playing football his senior year of HS I believe. Only other offers were from like Colorado State and La Tech or something

Trust me. I went to one practice, and it was so damn obvious he was insane. My buddy had been talking him up so much, and I felt like he still undersold him. Liucci didn't do shite.

The media has been on his dick for the last two years anointing his as being on the fast track to become an elite coach when the fact of the matter is he was carried by two guys who are once in a generation talents. I just don't see him breaking through and taking aTm to the next level. I really do like the guy, just think he's over-hyped.

ETA: And they still didn't win anything substantial with them

I looked and he actually was a three star. I remember when he committed he was one of those guys who wasn't even ranked and people on TexAgs were freaking out

No skin off my nose, buddy. You just look dumb when so say stuff like that.

You could say the same about any coach that has had success of any kind in a limited sample size.

He's pretty much the equivalent of Larry Coker without the hardware.
