Things going around that Auburn is his new leader. All of us on the Auburn board are skeptical though.

Y'all hearing anything on the Bama side?

Sounds like trying to get our hopes up again then watch him disappoint by signing with the other team. Not buying it until the LOI is officially in.

Hence the skeptical part...

Knowledgable and insightful post that really sheds light on the subject.

Mike Farrell isn't the worst source, but he's also less in the know than his title with Rivals dictates. His impact with the site is more interviews and the rankings than insider news. He works off gut feelings and rumors more so than having a direct source.

Who really knows, but EVERYONE who covers Bama from every site says he is all Bama and the coaches are extremely confident. Who knows though, maybe he is slipping away, but not even his HS coach knows about it.

Not that it means anything but I seem to recall him wearing a Bama beanie to his game last week

I would be absolutely shocked if he came to Auburn. He fits perfectly into the NT role of yall's 3-4, he would have to drop 30 lbs or so to play DT for us and he has seemed all Bama for a while now. Not getting my hopes up.

Just like Evans didn't fit at AU, neither does Payne. It's just how it is. He's all Bama.

He's been to Tuscaloosa a half-dozen times this season. To AU once?

Can't see him at Auburn, but the rumor revolves around him wanting to play early and his fondness of Auburn's depth chart.

Auburn runs a 4-3 D, Payne is 6-3 300 plus pounds the perfect size for a 3-4 DT...basically he is the perfect fit for Bama and he's from Birmingham I feel good about him coming to Bama.
