It's amazing some have to deny science to honor their religion. The bible is so figurative, you'd think they could accept the possibility that maybe evolution is just part of their God's plan.

He also did some anti abortion commercials during the SB I'm pretty sure so I can't be surprised

I don't mind the antiabortionist beliefs, as they have logical grounding on some levels. But to deny evolution? That's just crazy talk. It's cute he says "adapts over time" instead.

Yeah I agree. Not comparing the two issues just saying if you're gonna go on TV on that kind of stage and profess it I'm not surprised he feels this way either, as it's obvious religion shapes the way he thinks in a pretty rigid manner

Not one iota of evidence? Are you serious?

Like there is any shred of evidence to support the biblical story of creation...

Well the simplest, short term proof of evolution is antibiotics and bacterial resistance. We could get into DNA discussions with him, but I don't have the time ATM.

Are we talking big bang theory vs. creation or evolution vs. creation?
Evolution and creation isn't even comparable. Even if we did "evolve" from monkeys, God still could have hypothetically created the monkeys...
So I'm not sure what Kurt is saying, or what the discussion is about...

i applaud him for taking such stark stances on his beliefs in front of a national audience.
JK. silly comments from KW. evolution believing christian here. i aint saying we came from monkeys, but i'm not going to be shocked or angry if God corrects me in glory.
