That's a good one.

Program defining stat against LSU? I hardly think LSU is a team that anyone measures themselves against.

It is baffling that Alabama has lost 9 games at that place.

It's actually 27-9-2 (.736) I believe, they stated before the game it was 26-9-2.
What's funny is Alabama probably has a better win % in Tiger Stadium than LSU does.

Alabama is #1 because they have the best win % against LSU in Tiger Stadium. What was this thread supposed to be about?

It is kind of embarrassing in a way. One loss was in 1895, one during the absolute worst era of Alabama history with Ears Whitworth, a couple given up by Shula, one by DuBose, one by Saban and a couple during the 40's.
Bryant also lost one in '69 when things were so bad for him he thought about quitting. Losses to LSU apparently make you think about life choices and what you are accomplishing and is it time to just give up the college game.
It is kind of like losing to Vanderbilt.

WhATTTTT? Alabama's success and history has squat to do with the Chinese Bandits.
Surely you are just trying to be a smart-arse.
I'm just posting some interesting facts immediately after a game with an opponent. Relax. Don't read more into it than was meant.

Maybe one day, perhaps in a few decades, LSU can pass the Gamecocks, Plainsmen, and Vols concerning being a benchmark for Alabama in the SEC.

What's most surprising about this thread is that LSU has played Kentucky more at home than Auburn.

You point out what LSU's SEC scheduling argument should be. Today they argue against common opponents. They should be fighting alongside Bama and Auburn to protect the traditional rivalry games: Bama/UT, AU/UGA, and LSU versus Kentucky.

Tulane is no longer in the SEC, so who will be LSU's traditional rival?

Cheshire said it. Kentucky.

But Kentucky and The Bandits aren't traditional rivals. It's just called a game. Just like Alabama isn't your rival; it's just a game.
If LSU has a rival in the east, which I'm not sure they do, it's Florida.

LSU/Kentucky is just a game to you. Alabama/Tennessee is just a game to me.

can you link to the source of those stats? I'm curious to look at some more.
Thanks
