Seems it is down to UGA/OSU, with UGA always being the leader in the clubhouse and OSU trying to steal one.

What do you guys know, and how confident are ya as of today? UGA has 33/35 crystal balls but one OSU insider has said he feels good about OSU's chances for a few weeks now.

I say it is prob 70/30 UGA right now, what say you?

He's played it pretty close to the vest and hasn't given a ton of info but he's been a pretty solid UGA lean for a while now. I think most everyone in the UGA camp would be shocked if OSU snagged him.

How many kids is Georgia going to take? Roundtree will give you 24 commitments and I would assume you would still take several other recruits if you could get them. Not flaming, but you are obviously planning on signing more than 25 recruits this year.

We can take around 30 this year and we will.

Our class is pretty loaded at this point. Rountree has fallen off as some have said he isn't having a great season. I still would take him but seems like people are worrying about his ability.

People question his instincts. Still a no-brainier take with his athleticism and physicality.

I think UGA but not sure by any means.

aubphan, UGA can sign up to 30-31 range and still be under 85

Auburn should know better than most that UGA has experienced a lot of attrition this offseason

How many did Georgia take last year? If you sign past 25, it has always been my understanding that some of them have to enroll in January and count back toward last years class. You can only enroll 25 players into school in the summer or fall, and you can only back count until you get to 25 players in the previous class

Don't know anything about this guy's recruitment, but Meyer has been sneaky good in Georgia since he got to OSU. Seem to pull a surprise every year.

21 with one backcount to get 20. If necessary we can pull some Butch Jones number voodoo to get over 30

I would say most of the smart money is on UGA, but Roundtree did say he was worried about the arrests/problems at UGA. Maybe he doesn't remember the stories about how awful some of Meyer's teams were in regards to the law

He's pulled one LB and a S that grew up a UT fan and lived 5 miles from the boarder.

I think he's pulled from GA (not saying they were all wanted by UGA)

Johnson
McMillan
Bell
Collier
And they have high interest in/from Roundtree and Norwood in this cycle

I would expect the first 3 and Roundtree were takes for UGA, with Collier and Norwood not being takes necessarily (Collier was a backup plan for OSU at the time)

Of those, only Bell and McMillan were recruited by UGA. Norwood might be down the line

Not Trey Johnson? I know some people said he had reached his ceiling but I know he was offered by just about everyone...

Maybe UGA had a great class that year

Vonn Bell was actually from Tennessee and grew up a UT fan. Just lived in extreme south Tennessee and went to school in GA because his mother taught here.

UGA thought he was slow iirc. He never got an offer

Yeah, they stole him from UT not UGA.

We definitely wanted him too, though. We were probably 3rd or 4th though on his list, iirc.

Yeah, no doubt. We just were his 4th favorite or worse.
