Missed tackles, careless penalties. We didn't improve at all over the past week. I'd rather move on from EJ one year too early than one year too late.

I think coaches just have more film on our weaknesses.

My personal opinion is that the 425 defense is a gimmick and we suffer from no DE's. Blame who you want, but we are NOT GOOD at stopping people.

Our secondary looks freaking LOST and always gives huge cushions in zone and gets burned like toast in man. Awful.

No. I love our team and where we sit at the moment and there were definitely some positives tonight but this is not the thread for that.
Something needs to happen in the back 7 and quick.

Dude, we have tackled pretty well most of the season. Its not like his coaching style has changed.

Well lets look at the stats though.
3rd down we held them to 5-13. 0-2 on 4th. Massive improvement over USC.
They threw 40 passes, completed 28, 486 yards. There is your weakness.
They were held to 146 yards rushing which is an accomplishment considering they freaking let Bo Wallace burn them.
145 yards in penalties on Auburn. I don't get that whatsoever.
Two fumbles recovered.
We played stupid. NM had some great moments, 15-22 passing, 254 yards passing and 248 rushing. Coates caught a ball or two. I think NM needs to wait 1-2 seconds more before he throws and the pressure forced that tonight and it worked out. Coates and Duke can get the ball. And this had nothing to do with Ellis Johnson. Sorry.
