Wrong. State made us wear purple in 2009. There have been several others.

LSU 30, MSU 26 F, late goal line stand by the #7 ranked Tigers seals the victory.

Stupid attempt at bizarro uniform strategy by first-year MSU Coach Mullen doesn't work.

Make 'em wear purple if it is hot early in the year.

LSU with the purple is already gay enough.

LSU purple unis look so high schoolish. The white unis are sharp and iconic imo. Couple times a year with the purple is enough

I think it's because they're the exact same style just with different colors.
And Nike screwed over both with a numeral font/shoulder stripe change two years ago that doesn't look very good. The Nike potato sack jersey doesn't fit well in the shoulder and sleeve. Too loose and baggy. The shoulder stripe is not high enough up on the shoulder either. Bring back the traditional "Full Block" numerals as well. That company has a problem producing a well made tech jersey that fits properly..........

I think we did it through the Croom years... They kept kicking our asses when we made them wear purple so in Mullen's 3rd year we didn't do it. I think they should wear the purple more often. It looks just as good as the white. (I think)
