Big get for Tyndall. Chose VOLS over UConn, Va Tech and Creighton.

Nice pickup. I'm surprised Buzz couldn't land him.

Damn, was hoping he would go to UConn. Guess they'll be turning up the heat on one of our targets. Nice pickup Vols.

247Sports Director of Basketball Scouting Jerry Meyer still questions all the time whether he has Clarke rated appropriately. That’s how much Meyer loves the prospect who committed to Tennessee over Virginia Tech, reigning national champion UConn and Creighton on Thursday afternoon.

“I have him rated No. 41 overall, and there’s a lot of days I wonder if that’s too low. And I know other people have him too low,” Meyer said. “I mean, this guy is the consummate, gonna-help-you-win type of player. This guy is an NBA player. I’m really confident of that. He’s an NBA player.

“This guy has something special to him.”
Meyer said Clarke reminds him in many ways of San Antonio Spurs wing Kawhi Leonard, who was named the MVP of the NBA Finals last season after he shredded the Miami Heat on both sides of the court.

Yay, more 4* players who will do absolutely nothing for their program.

Detrick Mostella-6th man this year as a freshman

Jarnell Stokes-In NBA with Grizzlies
Trae Golden-1000 point career scorer
Jordan McRae-2x All SEC, 1500 career points. Drafted by 76ers.

These are the 4 and 5*s we've signed in basketball over the last 5 years.

Fallout from the Donnie Tyndall news is happening already. Prospect Chris Clarke has decommitted from UT and committed to Virginia Tech.

I mean, Detrick Mostella, Dom Woodson, Chris Clarke, etc. It was obvious he was cheating. Reportedly had two more 4* players on the hook for next week as well (my bet is Carter and Lovett).

A shame he is so bad at it.

I always thought the Clarke commitment was weird. Dude was considered a lock to VTech and then out of nowhere commits to Tennessee. Guess we know why now.

I don't think he was considered a Va Tech lock. He apparently tried to commit after the Florida game but his dad wouldn't let him and really wanted him at VT.

Ah, I just remember him getting a ton of CB predictions for VTech.

What exactly are y'all expecting to happen with Tyndall? This kind of scandal and negative impact on a program before he coaches a game is pretty bad stuff.
