Most States have NCLEX-RN review courses after graduation. THAT is the stuff you will need to know. As others have stated Nursing School is all about jumping through the hoops. Pay attention to disease processes and learn as much theory as you can about procedures because when you do most procedures in real life they will look nothing like it was in school.

After graduation work ONE year on floor to master time management and procedures then get to ICU as soon as possible.

Learn something new err'day.

I have a BS in computers from Mississippi State that was a while back. Much more freedom to do what you want as a nurse.
