"Auburn too high" - hg

But seriously, this game could go either way. Y'all have a strong run game to matchup with our beaten up and run defense. We usually have a strong pass game to matchup with y'all's sub-par secondary.

Special teams advantages? Our punter is good but our kicker is young and untested. What about y'all's?

I'd pick Auburn to cover, Ole Miss has trouble with the run.

Apparently, they think the teams are even and they gave OM the 3 pt home advantage.

Auburn's failures at the LOS has me concerned about every game left on the schedule except for Samford.

Don't know how to feel about this game.

What if the OM team that beat A&M shows up and the Auburn team that came to Starkville shows up?

I actually think this one is going to be pretty high scoring and we are going to put up a lot more than Ole Miss is used to giving up.

On the flip side, Bo worries me. He may have a big game as we have no pass rush to speak of. Our secondary is actually pretty decent, they just don't get much help from the pass rush and end up in trouble when we blitz safeties.

Then 31-17 Ole Miss will happen

I think that the Ole Miss speed on defense matches up better with Auburn style of run game, than it did with the 1950s style of smashmouth physical offense that just pushed us around. I do believe Auburns offense will score more than LSU, but I believe our offense can be more successful, and the Rebels can win this game.

That was Spurrier knowing Ellis Johnson like the back of his hand. He knew when and where we were blitzing from.

Adams and Wright aren't playing well this season?

FWIW, here are the in-conference, sack stats for our teams:
Ole Miss sacks allowed: 15.0
Auburn sacks allowed: 5.0

Ole Miss sacks: 11.0
Auburn sacks: 4.0

Our run D is very good at the LOS. We just don't have any pass rushers. The pass rush is really kind of pathetic.

They are both playing well in the middle. Both have been really solid against the run all year except for Dak in the MSU game. Our problem is our DEs can't get to the qb and we end up having to use our safeties to get any pressure. Monty will bust through every now and then, but he is a DT.

About as expected. We have no pass rush and Nick is hard to sack.
