We all know their defense is gettin all the hype and they are great. For those who have seen them play - they must have an achilles heel. What is it? Does LSU need to throw the ball to be successful or do we need to stick to our ground and pound game.

Alabama had some success running left in the game. I think Yeldon had 5.5 or 6 ypc against them or somewhere in there.

LSU needs to stick to their game plan and pound it, but they have to combine that with a few big plays off play action if they want to pull the upset.

LSU has an offensive line and running game that seems to be gelling. I honestly think you will win.

You have to be balanced. Our defense works by making teams one dimensional, largely by taking away the run.

Running to the exterior of the defensive line, "off tackle" worked well for Alabama.

Our interior DL is supremely talented, but our LBs are undersized. If you can get past the first level and secure a good block on the edge, you can have success running the ball at the mid-level. However, our safeties are great tacklers and extremely physical, so don't expect to break very many big plays.

As for attempting to pass? Don't.

That's objectivity.

I think the key will be Jennings moving the chains with his feet. He has to put pressure on the linebackers with the threat of running. Then complete 65 percent of his passes this game. JMO

Yeldon had success because he took one cut and was through the hole. Henry didn't have near as much success because he took longer to hit the hole. A one cut and go run game is about the only thing to have success on us all year.

Their defense is very fast but a little small. A power run game north and south can give them trouble, if you can clear the DL.

We've been able to control the run and get pass pressure with the front 6 all year. We are really tough against the run.

Having said that, you do not want to try to make a living throwing into that secondary. Running at the Ole Miss D leads to punts. Throwing into that secondary results in turnovers.

You fricked.

Serious answer here. They have not been tested. Bama was their only test and in my opinion, Bama beat bama. That's not saying Ole miss has a bad defense. They are good.

For LSU... Man up. Pound it. over and over and over and be excited about pounding and pounding like a virgin hitting the hole for the first time! You might blow your wad early, but getting it back up is easy!

Throw unexpectedly.

It's anyone's guess how the RB carries will be allocated for LSU, but Kenny Hilliard could have a good game with this matchup.

The run game will only be a temporary strength if you cannot complete some passes to keep the linebackers honest. Run away from Nkemdiche and double-team the other side.

They have the best defense in the sec and it's not really up for debate. IF miss st had a secondary , they would have an argument
