I think the posters of this board need to start the Sensible and Frank Discussion Party. Politics right now is all a bunch of stupid catchphrases and name-calling and screeching. And it's working.

From personal experience-if you accept or raise women (not ladies) like that-you will reap the whirlwind.

I know. 4 of the 5 will work with polls one day.

If parents want their daughters to be foul mouthed skanks then let them.

Not this mama. My daughter is a young lady. Thru and thru, a Southern young lady. Ma'am and sir are staples of her vocabulary as are yes/no ma'am and yes/no sir. She does not drop F bombs or spew other curse words at will, either. (yes, she really is my biological daughter!) I don't understand why any parent would want to sully their child like that. Seems to me it strips them of a true childhood before they ever even get to experience one. If you raise them up in a trashy manner, then why act all surprised and aghast when they develop into trashy and classless adults? It's called discipline, people. Utilize it.

I blame Disney under Eisner.
Walt was clean image Disney but Eisner turned them into money grubbing soul stealers. Eisner could not release a movie about a hooker and a corporate raider so they formed the invisDisney studios to release them. Not TV Disney is kids acting like grownups and being terrible role models to actual kids.
Kids need time to be kids but not in this media and money driven world.

Money may open doors but common courtesy opens homes.

Meh. It's none of my business how people raise their children. At least these little girls aren't having to watch their parents rob or kill other people.
I would love to see the faces of those crazy One Million Mom's nazis if they were to watch the video though.

That is the truth. I wish more ppl understood that in this day and age.
I am proud to say she does not smoke, has never used drugs, the one time she did get intoxicated, she called me to come pick her up, and she still sincerely and honestly wears a purity ring. She's 19 and I just made certain to keep the lines of communication open no matter what and to always utilize said lines of communication.
She is a stunning young lady both inside and out and I am one proud, proud mama.

I can understand and empathize with that. But as a nurse who sees first hand what consequences irresponsible parenting can have, it is much more difficult for me to stay neutral on this topic. It really is tragic in most cases.

Definitely with you on that one!

Parents indoctrinating and manipulating kids for the sake of some political point. Child abusers.

Cheese...she is a sophomore at USC. She was on the dance team last year (Carolina Girls dance team) but gave it up this year to focus more on academics. We should hook them up.
ETA: Thank you, Tbird.

CG, he is a sophomore at CofC and very attractive if you listen to the ladies
Looks very much like me at that age. Smart and athletic with less effort than I did at his age. He went to a game at Columbia already this season. I may be down for winter and spring sports this year.

We will definitley have to get these two together somehow!!
She's a great young lady. Very even-keeled and laid back. She's funny as all get out, too. She's blonde, huge blue eyes and she's danced all of her life.
We'll have to do some finagling and have them "accidentally on purpose" bump into each other!
