And did you seriously just compare a high 3-star/low 4-star recruit to two ~Top 50-75 national recruits?

You are seriously asking this question to MSU fans right now?

AU coaching staff at Mixon and Gibson's game now. I don't blame them, I would offer anyone Mullen showed interest in as well.

It's has been beaten to death, but Auburn wouldn't let him commit back when he wanted to. I, like CapstoneGrad, don't like letting in-state players go to other programs. I want Darryl Williams, and I also wanted De'Runnya Wilson and Ameer Abdullah. In fact, I was pretty bothered that we wouldn't allow him to be apart of this class. I'm even still bothered we couldn't get Beniquez Brown and Kwon Alexander, even though Kwon Alexander was a player we actually wanted.

You screwed up on Beniquez and De'Runnya badly. Could see how good they were going to be from a mile away.

Our claws are getting deeper and deeper into AL now...

De'Runnya and Beniquez were big misses for sure. Both would be starting at Bama/Auburn.

Beniquez? Doubtful. Our OLBs are pretty stacked. De'Runnya probably would have started eventually, but not this year.

Don't mind passing on De'Runnya. He'd be our 3rd best WR.

Engie is a regular at a board where they actually asked who is better Clayborn, Derunya, and Ashton or Megaquon, Tunsil, and Connor. Don't get caught up in his opinions.

I think he's as good as Coates right now in De'Runnya's 3rd year of organized football. Williams is elite.

I love how one good year by State is somehow equal to the recruiting prowess of Mullen followed by the recruiting ineptness of Malzahn/Saban.

Don't mention the fact that weakness at WR/LB is not the reason that Bama is struggling a little this year. If you would have named a right guard/right tackle/quarterback we whiffed on I'd be more inclined to believe the evaluation misses. As it is, I think our WR and LB situation is more than sufficient for a title run.
