I've been around the SEC and by far LSU has the best tailgating atmosphere and FOOD. Louisiana is known for it's amazing food and I've NEVER seen a corn dog at a tailgate. So I'm sorry, but I just don't get it.

It's most likely not true at all. However, it has stuck. It's here to stay.

That's just it you dumbass. I've never seen anyone cook corn dogs at a tailgate. That's like us calling State Fans violinists instead of cowbellers. Doesn't make sense.

It's the combination of the all the food, booze, and sweat that has a funky corndog smell...and it is here to stay forever.

Just realax dude. It was taken from a board with Iowa and Nebraska where the corn dog jokes make sense. And Auburn guy found it and ran with it about LSU. Embrace it. It is completely harmless

you're right, it doesn't make sense...

That was kinda funny when they asked Miles about Katy Perry's corn dog "joke" the other day.

He had no idea what she meant.

Just embrace it. It makes no sense whatsoever... the original wasn't even directed at LSU. But it's here to stay. So revel in it and cook yourself up some corndogs this weekend.

Be honest. How many corndogs did you eat for lunch today?

To you all maybe. I find it deliciously ironic that you things honor a fallacy that was cut and pasted by one of your ARCH ENEMY fans of Auburn from Nebraska and Iowa message boards and replaced with LSU, which makes less than zero sense.
In '09 I acutally saw with my own eyes 2 bama men inside a cage tailgate pulling a hot dog on a string and laughing with their respective one-tooth mouths at LSU fans as if it had ANY relevance at all.

Actually if anything, I think LSU fans smell more like bourbon, gumbo, Polo cologne, sweaty khakis, and jambalaya (at least at football games.)

You bama things smell like unborn mucas membrane, regurgitated possum afterbirth, gaping hairy skunk rectums, and spittoon bottoms.

It's a lazy attempt at an insult and it doesn't make any sense. However, if they enjoy it that's fine, because there are literally hundreds of worse "insults" that would be more accurate for LSU or Louisiana. Let them keep their "corndog" insult as a distraction from much better fodder.

The irony is that their is not much argument about great food at LSU tailgates and Louisiana in general by opposing fans yet we smell like corndogs. It is what it is. Hell, we smell more like alcohol than anything.

And it's also humourous that the "corndog" is the most popular item sold at the TEXAS State Fair...
