Since Ole Miss fans are discussing all the hypothetical ways the 2nd half of their season could play out, I got one for everybody:

Losses to LSU, Auburn, MSU

Final SEC record 5-3, 5th overall in the West, behind MSU, Alabama, Auburn, and LSU.

Best season in 50 years AMIRITE?

I'm not sure how that would make me feel as long as MSU makes it to the playoffs

Good job you answered your own question. I mean nothing we as fans can do about it. I go into each week believing and hoping we can win every game. Well if we don't then we don't. A 9-3 season at this point will be a little disappointing but looking back on it it would still be improvement from year 1 and 2 of Freeze.

That being said the biggest risk of us not having a 1 vs 2 11-0 Eggbowl is State fricking it up and losing to Bama.

Wouldn't that just be the best season since '08 when we also went 5-3? Think we finished 2nd in the west that year though.

Sounds like a solid Ole Miss season and Freeze will get an extension on his contract.

The odds of this happening with bama are far greater than ole miss dropping 3 sec games. thats fact.
