and 7 TDs. I'm hoping he breaks 1000 this weekend, with at least 5 more games left to wrack em up. He is still on pace for an incredible season.

If I were a betting man, I'd place money on him hitting 1K against 10RC.

They should just mail the Biletnikoff to Coop.

This whole "playing poor on the road" excuse is weak. I know everyone is saying it but I think we just played two shitty teams at home.

Nothing to do with home or away

Well A&M beat Arkansas in a close game, so it is reasonable to say they were fairly evenly matched teams.

If we truly struggle to get play calls in in the road and that is the cause of many of the procedural penalties we have had all year, it would make sense that we would play much better at home.

I think he'll have a decent chance at it this weekend...how many yards is he away from the school record?

Thanks...yards and receptions are easily within reach at this pace...if not for the nagging injuries last year, he'd probably already have broken 'em...

Unless something horrible happens he is going to break all of those records by a considerable margin. He could easily get to 1500+ yards this year, and he could get targeted 50 more times

It will be easy to see how that plays out. Kevin white and Coop are easily the two best receivers IMO

Yeah, it is between those two. I think White may finish with better numbers, but the script A on Coop's jersey wins it for him.

That still doesn't excuse the fact we didn't play well @ Arkansas

So not sure what you are trying to get at

Cooper has 1132 yards and 9 TDs now, and is on pace to break just about every bama WR record there is.

If we play 15 games, he could be within range of some SEC records too, couldn't he?

SEC Receiving records:

Receiving yards: 3759, Jordan Matthews
Coop is at: 2,868 (12th in SEC history)
Coop needs: 891 yards to tie, 892 to break

IF we play 7 more games, Coop only needs to average 127.28 yards per game over that span. He is currently averaging 141.5 yards per game. It is worth noting that Cooper always shows up to big games, and I count 6 big games left if we play 7 more. Also, if Coop breaks the record in his 15th game of the season, he would have broken the SEC receiving yardage record in 41 games. Matthews played in 51.

Receptions: 262, Jordan Matthews
Coop is at: 175 (22nd in SEC history)
Coop needs: 87 to tie, 88 to break

IF we play 7 more games, Coop needs to average 12.42 receptions per game over that span to tie. Impossible? No, especially if Saban lets him statpad vs Western Carolina. But it is very unlikely that he gets this record. He is currently averaging 8.9 receptions per game. Say he keeps that up over 7 games, he'd have 134 catches on the year, 238 on his career, which would put him in 2nd place in SEC history, edging out Earl Bennett by 2 receptions.

TDs: 31, Chris Doering
Coop is at: 24 (16th in SEC history)
Coop needs: 7 to tie, 8 to break

IF we play 7 more games, Coop only needs to average 1 TD per game to tie the record. This is within reach, but I don't know if you can expect him to get it. LSU has a good secondary and will be all over him. If he gets say 3 against Western Carolina, then look out.

Site is wrong. Cooper has 1000 yds in 2012, not 999.

Yeah it also gave him 1 less catch, if I remember correctly.

He officially had 1000 in 2011.
