-He has recruited in the South before, working at Clemson and Tulane.

-Won 10+ at West Virginia three consecutive years

-Brady Hoke of all people won a BCS game with a roster of his players

-He has Arizona near the top of the PAC-12

An offensive-minded coach with a proven track record seems like a no-brainer for Florida. After what happened between he and Alabama, it is obvious that his wife seems like a big part of his decision making. Would he leave Arizona for Florida and would Florida fans want him if he would?

Screw that. That would be scary to have to deal with another pain in the arse offense every year.

RichRod can coach some offense. Dudes defenses are like Kevin Sumlin defenses though. Would be another aTm.

The right choice would be Bill Clark.

Clark is a lifelong DC that's only been a head coach in college for two years. I think he'll be a good candidate someday but this would drive Florida fans into a frenzy if it happened.

They ought to fire Muschamp and get in the Harbaugh race. He recruited the hell out of Florida when he was an assistant at Western Kentucky. Helped them win a D I-AA title with what he recruited.

And honestly, it'd be funny to see him turn down Michigan with their shitshow administration.

How long has he been at Marshall now? I forgot about him being an assistant at Florida too.

I think he would be a good hire, but after the Michigan mess he may be happy staying at a place like Arizona with lower expectations.

There's a reason Petrino is at UofL and not anywhere else.
