Depends on what you mean by disaster. Tony Franklin's offenses have been crazy good, literally everywhere but auburn. Loeffler has next to zero track record.

I think Franklin is a good OC. It was just a bad fit and bad timing while at Auburn.

Franklin was/is a good OC. He got handcuffed at AU. Loeffler can suck my balls.

i remember going to the 2008 season opener, pre-season top ten, Tubbs defense with the new high powered Franklin offense and being so disappointed walking out of Jordan Hare.

The one of the lowest moments of my AU fanhood was walking out of Vanderbilt Stadium in 2008.

Then experienced it again in 2012. It was like déjà vu

I had a momentary lapse and forgot Loeffler was at VT. Cost me money tonight.

But guys. Loeffler mentored Tom Brady.... As a GA at Michigan.... He's clearly misunderstood offensive genius

That's putting it mildly. The BBQ gang had 0 interest in implementing his offense.

Loeffler was and is a motherfricking train wreck. Franklin never got a fair chance.

And I am very pissed with the OP for even making me THINK about these two morons again.

Franklin is a much better OC than Lefty. He's been succesful since leaving AU. He had to do all the offensive work including coaching all the positions because none of the rest of the offensive staff wanted to have anything to do with a spread offense.

Right there with you. I think the worst part was being taunted by Vandy fans. Who the hell gets taunted by Vandy fans?
