First time it has been done in 31 years in college football.

1983 AU was the last team to do it against arguably the toughest sechedule ever.

Hail State.

A week of talking shite about how auburn is the greatest team in college football, you get humiliated in the biggest game of the weekend, and this is what you post?

Except LSU and A&M shouldnt be ranked. So 2 conference wins and 1 top 10 win.

I am too but lets not act like they are the #1 team of all time because they beat a severely overrated LSU and A&M team who shouldnt even be ranked. Auburn is a nice win though and they are legit and should be the #1 team in the nation.

Lsu and AtM yes. We will see if AU was overrated as the season goes on.

But yes I agree it is not really in the same universe of what AU did in 1983. Very long way to go for state to sniff 1983 AUs jock.

Hey look! It's the biggest fig douche on Earth here to talk about Auburn.. Hey, if we were a razor blade from losing to an unranked cellar dweller, I'd be talking about something else too.

MSU's only road wins were LSU and South Alabama. I'll be interested to see them play at Bama without cowbells. I still think they win, but it won't be a gimme.

ETA: I see you caught it.

Thank you for reminding us what auburn did 30 years ago. Well done last night - it was marvelous.

By the way, you might call ESPN to correct that graphic - they are under the impression that you didn't win the national championship that year.

No, they just displayed the AP rankings.

Majority of the polling systems including ever computer system ever in existence for college rankings has AU #1 in 1983.

No one cares about sniffing 1983 AU's jock. Geez.

LSU and A&M were top 10 teams when State beat them. State hasn't beaten LSU in 15 years and that was only Miles' 3rd loss on a Saturday night in Death Valley ever. It was a big deal.

A&M was undefeated when State beat them. It was a big win.

Who cares what things will look like at the end. Who is better than State right now? Who has a better resume? Maybe Ole Miss. Maybe FSU. Don't say Baylor. So, who?

State is legit.

Sigh... if only Auburn hadn't sucked in 2009, we'd have had that too.

2 points worth mentioning here. 1: MSU is the boy dog in the SEC this year, no doubt about it. 2: I see quite a few scared bammers who know their turn on this ride is coming . prepare 'em boys because they are gonna wipe their asses with you!
