Have we talked about the guest picker for GameDay this weekend?

John Grisham is the only celebrity I can think of from Mississippi State, but he also went to Ole Miss and splits time between Oxford and Virginia.

Looking at the Wikipedia list, I see there really aren't any notable alumni who people would actually care to see as a picker. I mean, I guess you could get Papelbon, but he sucked on the Stars are Aligned.

True Katy Perry isn't an alum, but her manager is and she KILLED it. Going to be hard for whoever the rep is for the Grinders to live up to her performance on GameDay.

I guess they could go with Ronnie Parker, former CEO of Pizza Inn.

Greg Hardy is going to be a great guest picker when they come back on November 1st.

I prefer offseason threads to Game Day threads.

If I had to guess it will be Jerry Rice.

That would be incredible. Wish they would have the balls to do this.

Eric Moulds makes the most sense .. Super Bowl Champion KJ Wright would be good but the Seahawks had their bye last weekend so no way it's him... If I had to venture a guess I'd say Fred Smoot or Faith Hill.

They should pick someone with ties to both programs. Cecil Newton, SR. might be available.

Papelbon, Grisham, Palmero, Buck, Big Black, Jerry Rice, Morgan Freeman. One of these state fans if I had to guess.

Also Grisham is a pretty outspoken fan of state, he did law at OM, don't think he really pulls for them.

Also, I have no idea if Morgan Freeman is a State fan.

Was in the Grove this past weekend. Although that doesn't stop some State fans who would rather go cheer against their rival, than attend the biggest game in their program's history.

It's breast cancer awareness month and Robin Roberts is a cancer survivor. She is from MS. Her nephew, Lawrence, played basketball at state. Sounds like a good choice to me.

Not sure, but I don't melt. It's football, not life. So many more important things out there. This is simply entertainment for me.

God help Auburn if we honor Cancer Awareness this weekend. Dak may score 60.
