Why did people think Auburn wasn't the best team in the SEC this year?

They were the best team last year and had the most talent and experience returning this year?

Lucky, Marshall sucks, defense sucks, only good players went pro, no one will get better, etc.

All rant logic

Because most people thought they were a 9-3 team that got lucky last year.

auburn still has serious issues that will come up now that we've blown out the two worst teams in the SECW... we're struggling to run between the tackles, and we lack a true speed pass rusher. The defense is playing very well, but our secondary can be exploited by better QBs than Brandon Allen and Brandon Harris.

auburn could also be the SEC's best team, but b/c of our remaining schedule (specifically the four road games -- ole miss, msu, uga, bama) we may not make it to ATL.

Well so far all you've done is beat a Bert team that is winless in the SEC and a rebuilding LSU team.

I don't think Auburn can beat either Landmass team this year.

That's ironic coming from an A&M fan.
