UF vs UTenn - Who Else Remembers What a Big Game This Was?

Didn't even realize they were playing this Sat until today.
I was living in FL during the 90's and this game was HUGE every season. Kind of miss that.
If I'm not mistaken, the winner of this game made it to the SECCG every year from '92-'02 except for '97 when UF won but UTenn won the SEC.
Here's to the restoration of one of the SEC's great rivalries.

It was always such a big weekend early in the season. It has definitely lost a lot of luster, but I still try to make it up to Knoxville every few years. One of my favorite trips.

Once Alabama started dipping near the end of Stallings' tenure, it was THE game in the conference.

The '01 year was special since it was moved to the end of the season because of 9-11.

I miss those days. That was THE game of the year in the SEC. Now it's a fricking noon game on tSECN
