They were just going down the list of SEC games this weekend and said Florida/Tennessee is the most interesting because they think Tennessee is the best team in the East but the schedule is not favorable, having to go to Ole Miss and play Bama. He said they only lost to UGA by 3 which showed they are a great team and on equal ground with UGA who is the supposed best team in the East, and will run the table against the remaining East opponents, and have a punchers chance against Bama/Ole Miss.

Said this team has 9 wins written all over them and could sneak into a New Years 6 bowl before all is said and done.

Missouri is the best team in the East, and will win the East. I could honestly see UT finishing second though if they beat Florida. UGA and USC still have to play Auburn as well.

I'm not buying that for one second, but there's no question we're headed in the right direction.

In fairness here's what your coach said:

@DavidSPaschall: Richt on last week's close call over the Vols: "Time is going to prove that they're a very good football team."

There are like 4 or 5 college radio stations we get reception for around here and there is a program I hear sometimes called the Travis & Justin Experience which is a sports program done by college students

Georgia also had a few of their best playmakers sidelined with injuries last weekend. I'm not saying that Tennessee is not improving, but they also played Georgia into overtime last year - as well as beat South Carolina - and still finished the season with a losing record.

Of course...Tennessee still has to play Missouri, Alabama and Ole Miss....so there's that, too.
