If the favorites win on Saturday, will you still be supportive of each other? Or is this only when the teams are overachieving?

This weekend is really going to be fun (well, not for all of us). Two teams are going to have their reality check. Feelings will be hurt.

We have to feed off each other for either of us to have sustained success. Lots of fans don't like that notion, but its true.

If you want success for either team, you are going to start having to play Egg Bowls that matter.

Alabama doesn't hire Bear Bryant without Auburn winning the 1957 national championship.

Auburn doesn't pay the $200k to Newton without Alabama winning back to back national championships.

That being said, I want Ole Miss to beat the hell out of Alabama. They have losable games down the stretch. Bama doesn't. This is really Bama's only chance to lose a road game this year.

An LSU fan would know a little something about a reality check and getting your feelings hurt, huh?

I don't support the Grinders this weekend, although I hope they wear down Texas A&M.

I wouldn't call beating lowly programs like Memphis and LSU "overachieving."

I like for the Rebs to think they're all good & stuff before we beat them in the egg bowl (like 09) so I guess so.

Why do you Grinders keep saying this? What are you using? From what I've seen, USAToday shows A&M 1 point favorites, and the majority of sports books have it that way. I have seen a couple put MSU as 1 point favorites, but only a couple.
