Butch is the real deal, the future looks very good. What was Butch angry about with an assistant coach?

All we know at this point is that Butch can recruit... there are still questions about pretty much every other aspect of their program -- offensive and defensive play calling, QB development, OL, in game management, etc.

Jury is still out on Butch. He needs to win 7 this year for me to have any faith in him at all.

I think we win 7 this year and make the jump to 9 or 10 next year. Settle the frick down, Jed. Things are trending up.

Saban would be 7-9/8-8 with the roster Butch inherited. It's not Butch's fault that Dooley literally didn't sign one OL in his last year. Help is on the way.

The only players worth a shite we lose after this year is Worley and AJJ. The OL will be better. They are young as frick right now. I can say without a doubt that they are getting better every game. RBs will be beastly next year as will WRs and TEs.
Defense is looking pretty damn good and we bring almost everyone back. We're bringing in the best pair of DTs in the country along with another stacked recruiting class.
The East is right there for the taking in 2015 and I think we grab it if Dobbs turns into what I think he can be.

Dobbs is third on the depth chart for a reason (would've been fourth if not for the transfer)... UT won't have an sec calibre QB next season, unless it's the true freshman, and that's no guarantee.
The roster management along the OL and QB positions, while not all Jones fault, are real concerns that aren't going away anytime soon.

Dobbs is better than Peterman. Peterman is the sacrificial lamb so that Dobbs can hang onto his redshirt.

I believe that to be the case too. Butch wants Dobbs available for 15, 16, and 17

While i do think that UT is finally on the upswing, I also think that you guys are failing to notice that plenty of other SEC teams are recruiting just as well as you guys. It won't be a cakewalk, even if Muschamp is fired and UF is a flaming dumpster fire for the next couple of years.

That's the point. UGA, SCe and UF have had more talent than us for a while now, that's obvious. We're recruiting as good or better than all 3 of them now. I'm not saying UT will out-talent every team in the conference but by 2015, we will be good enough to go toe to toe with just about anyone for the first time in a long time.

Yes, and that reason is to preserve his redshirt. Dobbs has the potential to be a very good QB at UT
