Will we see a pass reception by Blake Sims this year?

I've seen a variation of a pass to a QB AT LEAST three times in the NFL this year, and few times in college football already.

I think at some point we will see Alabama do this, seeing as how Sims is so athletic. Amari to Sims for a TD would be saweeeeeet.

Probably not as long as his shoulder is bothering him.

Depending on the play, it's a free shot on the QB.

I actually posted this on Woolly yesterday. If he is getting a lot of Heisman love I can see Kiffin drawing this type of play up for a "Heisman moment."

If he keeps throwing into D lineman's up stretched arms 2 or 3 times a game, the odds are that one will deflect back close enough for him to catch.

JK, the kid is playing great and I'm proud for him.

Almost always it's a throwback across the defense, the QB os near the sideline and often wide open. I don't think it exposes him to a free shot any more than him sitting in the pocket trying to throw. The thing I would be most concerned about is the guy throwing up a wounded duck that gets picked off.

There's a YouTube video of Blake throwing a 40 yard pass to himself. We should try that play.

I hope not. The inside reverse to Brandon Brooks was about all the FSUesque BS that I can stand.

That made me go look. It was Brandon. He also struggled catching kicks.

Any updates on Sim's shoulder problem? Am I the only person who is very nervous about it?

He wasn't throwing earlier in the week but have not heard anything lately.

Not the only one.

When I saw him go to the locker room and come right back out I was willing to bet it was something out of socket. Just my uneducated guess, though.

I hope not, unless it was his non-throwing shoulder
