What are the chances he's a head coach somewhere next year? Where could you see him eventually landing?

I think he would be a good fit for Miami...The Florida job could be opening up soon...

Bonus question, what other SEC schools have their OC's on the sideline?

Michigan likely to have an opening this year also.

Arkansas opening not until after next season.

i could see him taking a job like he should have started with, like fresno state (his alma mater). he definitely does not need to take another high profile major head coaching job so soon. I hope he sticks around a couple years with bama, learns how to really run a program from saban, then proceeds with his career. Hes a really young guy still, not even 40 yet.

Les is going to Michigan once they fire their AD.

He will get another shot. I think he will be at Alabama two years and then gone. Will be interesting to see if he ever succeeds running a program. He advanced too fast for his own good. He wasn't tested and mature enough starting with the Oakland job.

Yep, I can see him out west at somewhere like San Jose State, San Diego State, Fresno State. Maybe even a tier 2 PAC 12 school like a Oregon State or Washington State eventually.

Miami is too wild for Lane. He needs to be around a father figure like little Nicky for as long as he can.

If Kiffen is smart, he'll stay right where he is for a few years. He has to try to re-establish his credibility. The best way to do that is to work for the guy who is generally considered to be the best in the business and then try to convince potential employers that he learned a thing or two.

Kiffin will take the Michigan job at year end, marking the greatest list of college head coaching jobs by the least competent person in history.

We lost our starting LT and our best QB in school history, and Kiffin's playcalling absolutely DESTROYS Nussmeier's.

But Kiffin is a great recruiter, and if he ended up at a place like Miami or Michigan, he'd get a lot of talent. Especially WRs who see the numbers his top WRs have put up recently (Woods, Lee, Cooper) and QBs who see what he has done with Blake Sims.

I don't think he's near as good of a HC as he is an OC though. I mean, unless he gets a homerun hire at DC and has taken in the Process at an alarmingly fast rate. If he wants to really help his future HC case, he'd stick with Saban for more than one year.
