He already said he wasn't coming. He has something else going on on Saturday, it might be shrimp night at Ryan's Steakhouse Buffet.

I was just thinking ... I wasn't going to be there Saturday, going deep sea fishing instead, with a little hunting mixed-in.

But I was gonna cancel everything if I opened this thread and heard he was coming just to be there to boo that fat bastard POS.

You mean you're missing your chance to boo Mizzou?

They almost aren't worth it.

It's kind of like booing a puppy.

Mizzou has become meh.

One of my daughters is coming-in from California and she needed all the tickets she could get, (and I'm not crazy about who she is bringing), so my Son and I are headed-off with some other guys to hunt and fish.

We need to beat Mizzou with authority. We'll be listening on the radio.

White guilt bleeding heart liberal progressive socialists.

My oldest daughter feels guilty for having money as a child, yet she's whallered in it at UNC and now at UCB and is angry at me for cutting her off within certain limits financially.

She's left journalism to pursue a law degree at UCB, second year actually ... and she is bringing with her another couple and her live-in boyfriend of whom I disapprove at her age ... she just turned thirty. It's time for me to cut the purse strings. Better I not be around them this weekend. None of them are SC fans, she just wants to show the Cockaboose and reminisce on some of her old stomping grounds. I told her to go to UNC for the weekend ... naturally she is not going to respect my wishes. One of her sisters is coming down from Knoxville for a visit while she is here. I'm going to be completely out of pocket.

Unreachable.

I got him to autograph a hat of mine when I was at Carolina, kept it until he turned taitor (mix of traitor/tater) then I gave it to my dog.

He was a major disappointment as a man IMHO. We knew Daryle and him well. He brought Jeff and John out to the lake to fish over the summer when they were boys. I really liked the guy at first. But he was so weak and destructive and lilly livered and spineless and vindictive and back-stabbing and hypocritical .... he's deceitful. He's not trustworthy.

Some of the things he tried to do to us on the recruiting trail are nepharious in lore ... I've heard straight from the mouths of recruits some of the racist crap he tried to imply about SCAR. Or he'd say we could never win here. Jeff is as bad or worse. Jeff recruits against us with revenge and hate in mind.

If Brad Scott were to come back here for this he should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.

I'm totally against doing this stupid shite for the '94 bowl team after only 20 years no less ..... 25 years, okay. But not 20 years with ESPN GameDay in town.

You don't say...

But, then again, most fathers have a soft spot for their daughter. Or so I'm told.

I've got three daughters ... so I can still have soft spots for my other two and I'm not the guilty type. My first wife and her side of the family ruined my oldest daughter.

Y'all will find-out what it's like one of these days. Kids grow-up ... not all of them turn-out as you might hope, but you have to let them all be whatever they are going to be and try to guide them along the way as best you can. Being too helpful can be counterproductive.

Her live-in jobless 34 yr old boyfriend already tried to preach to me about the evils of the South and the evils of the SEC and the evils of America, by phone ... that did not end well.

He's an out of work actor who sometimes works as a freelance producer of useless short stuff.

Nah, I just can't be there. This will be the first home game I've missed in many years.

Trust me, I am currently on travel in California right now. That is the status-quo of the population here.

'You need to squash this for the sake of your daughter." Is my first thought. I just wish I could help you with a plan on how to get that loser out of her life.

A person's work ethic doesn't magically improve with age. I bet when your daughter wises up and realizes she doesn't want to be his meal ticket, he's the kind of guy to move back in with his folks, or sleep on his best friends couch until they kick him out.

You and your daughter have a Couch Guy problem, y'all need to leave a trail of Doritos out the door and down the hall and then slam that door.

Moment of clarity: If you cut your daughter off more, his Couch fund will dry up and he'll probably want to leave. Most relationships end b/c of money related issues. It might also be a good step for your daughter to move forward and start taking care of herself, or even better, find a nice guy her age who is a smart worker and will take care of her.

Just remember, if you always do what you've always done, you're always gonna get what you always got. If you'd like to see him gone, change the situation.

You all get it. Y'all are gonna make good Daddies one day ... you get it. Y'all hit the nail on the head perfectly.

Seriously ... I offered this young good guy who is exactly her age a bunch of money to woo her and marry her ... explained how her trust fund works after marriage and everything.

He met her ... raved about how beautiful she is ... then declined after about a month. Said, and I quote, "Mr. *******, I'm sorry but she is bat shite crazy."

He is an honest man.

She let her car insurance lapse then had a wreck then wanted me to buy her a new car and pay damages on the car she hit.

Anyways, for the next four or five days I am going to be in the woods and on a boat not giving a fat baby's arse if the sun don't shine. Just finished packing.

Y'all pull us through Saturday! Go Cocks! Beat Mizzou!
