We just averaged 4.7 a carry against the #24 rush defense in the nation. The only team currently ranked higher than that left on our schedule is Alabama.

Yeah, some aspects of our run game concerned me (not scoring with first and goal from the 4), and it took us a while to establish some consistency, but they did have a very good front seven.
I've said it before and I'll say it again -- we'll beat at least one of Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Mizzou.

I'm sticking with my 6-7 wins prediction.
I think we get LSU and Missouri....and then one of Ole Miss, aTm, and UGA.

we're stronger as other teams we face will be weaker. as i predicted before the season, the last half of our schedule should have the most wins. i think UAB will be a confidence booster after bama.

We play Bama, then Georgia, then UAB. Georgia ain't shite, we can beat them. Not so sure about Bama.

Tread cautiously.
Auburn made lots of mistakes this week.
North Texas beat Nicholls St. 77-3, so they clearly stink.
Texas Tech doesn't play defense.
Last week NIU was two scores better than UNLV, who got stomped by UH today.
No one was claiming these were huge wins, but they're less impressive with growing sample sizes.

i like our chances the rest of the way. we'll see very soon where we really are at. my gut feeling is we may lose big to aTm and bama, but give the rest of our schedule a good fight.

I think we played a good game, but I think it's best to carefully manage expectations until we prove we can win an SEC game.
I really believe that we'll win at least one this year, but I've only seen enough so far this season to feel more confident in my prediction of 6 wins.
