How do you feel about the OL and FB positions so far?

Obviously last night you didn't run well, but you did in your previous games. I'm sure Fulse isn't as good as Prosch (which makes sense because he was a beast), but how big has the drop off been?

Also - has Uzomah gotten many touches? Didn't see any last night. Always thought he was a tough matchup, especially in your offense.

Huge drop off in both spots IMO. We miss Kozan the most of any of our guys though. On Marshall's one long run last night Fulse actually made a block. He ran around without hitting anyone for the rest of the night it seemed.

Jury is still out. After last night, it is a big concern. Last year if a team tried to take away the run, Gus said frick you and ran it up their arse anyway. Last night he went to the pass game.

We lost Grob and likely all American kozan on the line. Then the best fullback and runningback in the country.

We will see. Very possible our run game is not nearly as strong, Gus sees this in practice and is striving for balance as a necessity.

Or our Oline may gel like it did the second half of last year and we run over everyone again.

Dunno.

Kozan hurts for two reasons. He was the next best Oline after Greg/Reese and it required we move our his counter part to guard and which also weakens our tackle. In the end though if we don't drop 6 balls the running game would have opened up sooner than it did.

It's hard to say at this point because at this time last year we weren't running over everyone. That had a lot to do with Prosch playing better. I don't think the loss of Robinson hurts as much as Kozan. Also while I think CAP is a very good RB, I don't believe he's as good as Tre Mason. Overall, I don't think we'll be able to run the ball as well as last year. Adding Duke Williams obviously helps in the passing game though.

Fulse
Prosch
Uzomah

thats the thing everyone's overlooking, our run game wasnt very dominant yet at week 3 last season. this game reminded me a lot of LSU last year. winning it this time is promising IMHO. just plaing it tough last season was the impetus for our success forward so winning it tough like that has to be that much more of a confidence builder IMHO

The whole offense looked like shite last night. Might be wishful thinking on my part, but I am hoping that playing on an odd day of the week like Thursday had something to do with it
