going forward. A lot of people will look at that game and say "oh wow, auburn looked bad. They might not be as good as we thought!"

First of all, going on the road on a thursday to play a team in their self-described "biggest game in history" is going to be tough, no matter what. We expected them to be firing on all cylinders, and they were. BUT, the main thing that people should remember is...that game could have been U-G-L-Y if not for uncharacteristic Auburn mistakes. Marshall made some absolutely beautiful throws that were dropped by one of our most sure handed receivers...chances are stuff like that won't be the norm. An interception bounced off a dude's facemask? Doesn't happen that often.

So..if the rest of the SEC wants to sit back and get cozy thinking that we're not all that, fine. Just remember this game could've easily been a 3 touchdown win. We'll make quick work of our next game, then it's onto LSU. If I was an LSU fan I'd already start getting nervous.

You are acting like Kansas State did not have big mistakes. They weren't firing on all cylinders.

Lockett dropped an easy TD pass that turned into an interception.

on what?

I'm attempting to quell the overreaction that we aren't that good. 2 or 3 plays go how they "typically" would and this game isn't close.

K State made some mistakes also. Auburns running game looked terrible. Y'all will lose 3 games.

Maybe you are just trolling...I don't see how you could say Kansas State was firing on all cylinders. They were completely incompetent on offense.

K-State made as many if not more mistakes than Auburn did. Auburn played bad and was still able to come away with a win.

Looks like after last night, you're already worried about LSU.

It'll be alright, you just keep telling yourself that Auburn isn't as bad as they looked last night.

...over and over and over.

Especially in the first half..they were playing with their hair on fire. Obviously it didn't sustain the whole game, but they came out as pumped up as you could imagine.

Nobody is worried about LSU at this point.

Good luck against Merlins and the grind tomorrow.

The first half consisted of them gifting you 3 points, missing an easy touchdown and missing 2 field goals.

This is a waste of time, but Auburn will be a tough win for anyone.

Agreed...but you have to admit that Auburn was lucky to win last night.
