Richt willing to run them into the ground?

https://m.ajc.com/news/sports/college/georgia-tailback-nick-chubb-undergoes-surgery/nhNCY/

quote:

Georgia is expected to be without Nick Chubb for Saturday’s game against Troy and possibly longer after the freshman tailback underwent surgery on Monday.

Chubb had surgery on his left thumb at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens on Monday. According to Lavelle Chubb, Nick’s mother, doctors inserted surgical screws to repair a fracture that Chubb suffered in practice this past week.

Really, Richt couldn't sit a 3rd sting RB to go against SC, and risked further and more severely damaging his thumb?

You can see his thumb taped up here.

Clay Matthews for GB had the same type of injury and GB sat him out, and he's a starter.

Running into the ground eh?

Why don't you tell the board how many carries Chubb has on the season so we can laugh at you.

Why don't you let us know why Richt would play a 3rd sting RB with a broken thumb in a game, and even let him carry the ball. Most people use a thumb for grip, do RB's not need grip? Also, at the very core, the guy needed surgery, they knew that last week, they were willing to sit him vs Troy this week, but they needed a 3rd string RB that bad this week, really?

No. Link?

And ftr, who says they aren't or won't be? We've played 2 games, and have the best rb in America ahead of them on the depth chart.

Yes, we did need him bc he's that good.

You also failed to back up your claim he's being run into the ground, which of course is impossible bc he has roughly 10 carries on the season.

This really sucks for the dawgs because Chubb has the potential to be a stud workhorse. Gurley is super talented but delicate. I seriously do not think TG will last the season.

I am frankly surprised that Keith Marshall hasnt seen the field yet as far as I know. Dude can ball.

Based on what? Seriously. Had a high ankle sprain last season which certainly hampered him. What else?

Did you watch the game Saturday? Did you not see some of the hits Gurley was taking?

He's a delicate little flower.

Schtick is old.
