I stumbled across this in a GA Southern video a bit ago. Don't think I've seen this version of a fake punt before.

favorite trick play has to be the one vandy ran against Bama like twenty years ago. It was a fake punt where the punter went in for the touchdown. Vanderbilt ended up losing the game though

That Brad Wing play got me thinking, is that one of the dumbest rules in CFB? I get that it's poor sportsmanship and during a live play, but I think it should be 15 yds on the kickoff in situations like that

Well, that's how it's been for decades. No idea why they changed it. Obviously to discourage it, but still, eventually that's going to cost someone a game and everyone will be super outraged. They need to be proactive and change it back before that happens.

Glad you posted. I couldn't find it. But yes, the famous LSU fake was one that had been used against them by CTT.
