Geez, Miss. St. hasn't played anybody either and they are giving up almost 400 yards per game.

That's embarrassing.

EDIT: Miss. State has played USM, UAB, and USA and has been giving up 392 ypg? I didn't even know that.

LSU is going to torch them. Wow.

I'll take State, on the road, by 2 touchdowns.

Their offense turns the ball over so much, the other team doesn't even have to rack up yards to put up 30 on them

UT just played a top 5 team and the fans in the stands were mad they couldn't get the running game going

Imagine if we had played UMass and Temple and they had played A&M and ECU those numbers would be different but okay.

Just gather some facts prior to posting.

Let me help..

Southern Ms

Look at the second time we took the field on defense. See the different players?

1st time on the field.. McKinney, Brown, Smith (DE who picked the pass)

2nd time... Jones,Holmes, Jefferson... Totally different defense in the game.. in the first Qt.

Note our starters in the Secondary.. Love, Cox, Hughes, and Calhoun. Look at the 4th defensive stance. None are in the game. Coman and Redmond are in, and both give up some yards. Back up Jackson forces a fumble. That's how deep we went in the first quarter.

Moving to the 2nd/3rd qt. Now we have Deontay Evans out there. Freshman LB Dezmond Harris. DB Cleveland etc etc..

UAB

Again, 2nd defensive stand.. New players in.

Let's look at the guys in on UAB's first TD..

DB.. Evans. Not a starter. DL, not starters. After they scored (13-10) State marches out the 2s on offense. Not Dak.

Beginning of 3rd.. 3 play net 5 yards and a blocked punt. Starters in.

Florida's only played two games. Big grain of salt. Let's revisit that next week.

You guys did let Rice out-gain you this past week. Granted, they ran a shite ton more plays and had the ball for a lot longer than you while only gaining like 4 more total yards. But still...Rice!

A lot more points than normal for all the teams - and that is with most of them playing easier teams the first couple of weeks.

This is the new era of college football - get used to it.

OP how about posting the scoring defense?

Some teams that don't throw well run for massive yards and can't convert the 3rd and longs and get stomped on the scoreboard.
