Congrats to USC. Y'all's team showed an incredible amount of heart and the O Line looked head and shoulders ahead of where it was the first week of the season. A healthy Mike Davis makes a big difference and if Lorenzo Ward can give that defense a pulse I wouldn't be surprised to see USC with 10 wins this year representing the East in the SEC Championship game. I wish the Dawgs could have capitalized on the couple errors y'all gave us, but we didn't and all of the credit for that game should go to the OBC and y'all's players. Don't let us complaining about the refs take anything away from how y'all played and fought back after the A&M game. Congrats and hopefully y'all can lose a game or two coming in and we can slide into the SECCG through the back door once again.

I did not see this coming. I had the Dawgs all the way on this one. USCe always seems to take this game more seriously than does UGA almost every single year.

Because Spurrier hates UGA, and Richt hates nothing.

Was the UG board melt worthy of noting?

I know. You would think by now that Richt has caught on to the fact that Spurrier abhors UGA and will have his team ready for UGA, sky high every single year. Wake up Richt

Excellent post dogsontop34.

It takes a level head to write all that. I am positive that I could not write that less than 12 hrs after a disappointing loss.

Even Georgia's insiders can't be objective like this. Of course, you could almost see a smirk on their face the whole week leading up to the game at the notion of South Carolina having any kind of chance.

Hard fought game as usual.
Could have went either way as usual.

If history proves anything, its that uga will bounce back and end up in ATL anyways.

I once again, must give massive credit and respect to Lew Dawg for the best avatar on tRant. Possibly the entire interwebs.

Well unfortunately most of us Dawg fans have gotten used to crushing defeats over the last few years. We've definitely averaged over 2 in the last five years. This was a little more frustrating because I expected to win this game handily, but thoroughly underestimated USC and it's hard watching one of the best players in cfb not get the ball when we have 1st and goal from the 5. I've learned to eat my crow when I'm wrong though and give credit to the team that deserves it.

Not running Gurley after the int was even worse than the end of the 01 Auburn game.

I had USCe in my pickem on the SECrant pickem board.

Seems they have Georgia's number lately.

Spurrier's had their number for 25 years now. They should be thankful he left UF.

I called this....it was a must win for South Carolina. I didn't think Georgia's win over Clemson was as great as it looked on paper and I didn't think our loss was as bad against A&M. We just didn't match up well with them. I liked our match up with Georgia.

Is this true for every fanbase or just ours? It's ridiculous how many posters I don't recognize find a way to start a "Fire Bobo" thread.

You should've been listening to 680 earlier. "Richt HAS to go!"

really was expecting UGA to come back in the second half and maybe even dominate with the run game, they did play well though. Could have gone either way, close doesn't count on FG's and first downs so you have to take the game for what it is, well played, either team is still in the hunt. As the OBC said "that one was ours".
