Two sides of the same coin for our defense it looks like: South Carolina is going to gash us in the air and UGA will too with their run game. Both look plenty beatable to me, but I still think both teams are the best the East has to offer. It is gonna be tough for sure.

Obviously teams will change and improve as the season progresses, but there is no team in the east or the west outside of aTm that scares me right now. I think Gus can decide how many points he wants to score vs uga or scar right now.

We just have to hold them to under 40. We're going to torch both of their secondaries. They'll have to play in the box against our rushing attack, and Sammie and Duke are going to have a field day in one on one coverage.

No different than I did before. A&M is my main concern.

Biggest concern is against Oregon in Arlington

It will be a tough match up for our D and their D is pretty fast. I still expect a win although close.

LSU's defense looked pretty good tonight albeit against a much inferior opponent. They are a perfect balance to our strengths and will give us fits.

TAMU and LSU are our biggest games. If we played Georgia and Alabama today we'd win both.

As I've said all year. Ole miss with a good bo Wallace is the only team I see beating us.

Glad that UGA loss, did not want to hear that BS. The meltdown by UGA fans will be great.

I feel the same as I did going into the season. I like our chances versus SCe because we have 2 weeks to prepare for them having the week before them off. On the flip side someone could easily argue that SCe has 3 weeks to prepare for us because going into our game with them the Cocks have a bye and Furman before us.

On UGA I am concerned about their run game because Gurley and Co. are some baaaad men. They may gash us on the ground but if the last 6 quarters are any indication then they'll have to earn it. Our DL has been straight up nasty versus the run the last 6 quarters. As for the game as a whole I am very concerned about UGA because of scheduling. It's the last game of a 4 game gauntlet we have versus 4 straight top 17 teams with no byes or cupcakes sprinkled in. SCe, @ Ole Miss, TAMU, and @ UGA...Very tough haul. Some fans may be disappointed with it but if we go through that stretch 3-1 then we will have done good.

There isn't a team in the SEC right now that has an advantage over AU IMO. I think AU will only drop one game. Hopefully Mizzou wins the East again, because I'd hate to play UGA/USC twice.

UGA always makes me nervous with Richt at the helm. He had and still has our number and I always feel lucky to walk away from a UGA win.

On the other hand, we have Spurrier's number and have for a long time. I don't see that changing this year with our offense.

I think Auburn has to just decide to not allow the run. get burned on passes if need be but decided right now they are not going to let anyone run the ball. our offense will hum and its a lot to ask first year qbs in the sec to keep up with our offense.

a&m excluded of course.

Nobody with a one dimensional offense is going to beat us this year. Thompson looked good because UGA is playing at least 3 guys that have no business in the SEC even as walk-ons.

Gurley will get his 100 yards because he is just that good. But their OL is not very good. Even if they gel, there is only so much talent to draw on. Mason isn't going to beat us, and even if Mitchell or JSW are back, our DBs are getting better each week.

There's a chance we could go undefeated this year. The only teams that have played meaningful games are USC, UGA, and TAMU, and no one knows really how good any of them are because it's only been one SEC game for TAMU, 2 for USC where they looked awful then quite good, and two hard games for UGA where they looked awesome, then beatable. I think we'll blow out one or two teams we're not expecting to, and CAP should be around or over 1500 by the iron bowl.

My logic is if we have a championship caliber team capable of beating every team on our schedule, then I expect a championship.
