- PA guy during the fight song before the game "ALRIGHT GAMECOCK FANS! YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO!"

Yes. We do. We know when to say "go cocks" and I think we're all acclimated to the Carolina spell off now. Thanks.

-Mic guy and band being played over a speaker in the South endzone

This was just a last weekend thing, and the mic guy got cut after halftime. But oh my god was it annoying. It fricked up any chant because of audio lag on our side of the stadium, and it was embarrassing. I hope they don't do it again. The band being mic'd wasn't bad, I just felt it was a slap in the face to the band.

- The amount of Sandstorm

Play it after touchdowns only. Even then, if it's a blowout, play something else. Don't play it after a field goal. It's not the same. We shouldn't hear sandstorm more than the fight song.

I agree on the mic man ad sandstorm.

Although I think sandstorm should be played during some timeouts if the game is close. Definitely not after every score.

The absolute biggest is cell phone or wifi coverage. Although, I did actually get some text messages out during the 1st game. However, I was hoping that SC would somehow partner with some of the providers to boost signal around the stadium during gamedays.

I don't know what it is, but my ATT service has been great the past two years. I pull up youtube videos and watch other games at halftime.

Unless that FG just gave us a lead late, but yeah I agree. They play it randomly, and sometimes not until right before we kick-off so there is really no point.

It doesn't really "bother me" but I always wonder why we moved the away section. It used to be where the students are, and hell I can understand the logic that putting them there gives the away fans an opportunity to try to wave and distract our kicker at home. But damn we put them in an acoustic corner and big away bands can get pretty damn loud and can blast ours away for anyone on that side of the stadium.

Putting them back in the student section would put them out in the air of that side, and would fill out that one section none of the students want to sit in that is right over the away tunnel.

Concessions need a huge upgrade. They're very vanilla.

Retire the Cocky magic trick. Looks cheap and goofy. Especially in HD.

Incorporate more look-ins to other live games on the video board.

Get someone under 25 to pick five songs. Mix them into the rotation.

I'm happy for you, but Sprint coverage sucks there.

For anyone, any of the other carriers work better this year besides AT&T?

When did they move them to the southeast corner? It's been that way for as long as I was a student. I definitely see your point, but I think part of the logic behind this was so that the students and away fans wouldn't get into altercations.

As far as gameday experience, I haven't been to see a game since the '11 Navy game. Everything has changed so much, I cannot possibly offer an opinion.

I think it happened over 10 years ago. The students section expanded and then they also had a military appreciation section over in the NE corner as well. They also moved a lot of the faculty/staff out of the North Endzone with the expansion and that's a lot of who's in sections 20-21-22. I remember when our tickets were moved from the North Endzone to inside the 45 yd line for the same price, I thought it was the most magical day ever. Then came the YES Program, but we still didn't mind, the seats were worth it.

Yeah it's been over 10 years. My first trip there was in 2000 but I sat in some weird section with my dad so I don't recall where visitors were. When I went back in 2002 we were in that lower level corner and have been there every year since.

I was a freshman in '03, and it was setup in its current iteration. My first game as a student (fall pledge) was the 63-17 Clemson debacle. Sat through the entire game.

It's been where it has been for as long as I can remember, but if you watch games from the early '90s and earlier you'll see away sections where the students are now.

33:40 mark. After SC scores you can see all the Vol fans down there.

For one reason or another maybe it was changed when they added the South upper deck in 1996?

Just watched some of the video. It's remarkable how much different the stadium looks in just 20 years. Yeesh.

But man I wish we'd go back to those uniforms. Or at the very least, bring back some black pants.

I think there is just too much piped-in sound all the way around these days. Too much telling us what to do. Sometimes I get the feeling that the crowd is just rebelling again the PA announcer.

Oh, and I get tired of hearing, "it's another Carolina ... FIRST DOWN!"

Especially when we're getting our asses handed to us and the place is quiet and it doesn't mean anything.

I'm on the fence about this. I expect us to make 1st downs, so does it really need to be announced? I know that some of the opposing fans in the past hated it and remarked to me about it, so that made me like it. Hopefully it was getting in the other players heads too.

Isn't his job to pump up the crowd? Should he just start musing on the state of economy or this weird growth he noticed on his elbow? Or maybe if we get down by more than 14 he should just sulk/pout and start cursing like we do? (Actually that might be rather entertaining...)

I don't mind it as much when we're losing. I still think it should be on third down conversions only.

It bothers me a lot more when we're up by twenty and we're still celebrating first downs.
