So AU has its best seasons when SOS is hardest? I guess AU doesn't play the victim like some fanbase(s) around here. :schedulethread:

It is the only way we can win the popularity contest and get an invite to the dance.

So that was Mizzou's best team ever last year. Gonna be tough to top that.

I dont think so. I dont even think that last years team was better than 2007 to be quite honest.

I would rank them:

1960
2007
2013

It is a cool site. Someone else linked it a few weeks ago but just alink and not laid out like OP did here.

BTW, 1983 AU schedule is pretty much the toughest in the entire history of the SEC.

I believe one other recent schedule was comparable but only due to the greater number of games including the SECCG.

1983 AU sorta GOAT in college football when talking schedules. And the craziest thing was it was backloaded, making AU the only team in NCAA history to play and defeat 5 consecutive ranked opponents. Top 20 opponents at the time they played in november and the sugar bowl actually.

So they have 2009 UF when they got crushed by GMac and Alabama in the SECCG, but they don't have 2006 UF when they crushed tOSU in the BSCNCG? Ummm...

I agree but it seems to be more weight on undefeated seasons than the eye-test.
