What Hawaii did in the last decade reminds me a lot of what Sumlin is doing now. System QB is gonna system qb. GOAT goes to the pros and gets beat out for a starting spot by a bottom tier QB.

Our QB is more like Vick. Super fast, big arm, not accurate.

The difference is that Colt Brennan looked like dog shite against Georgia. A&M's offense has been great in the SEC.

Here's how you knew Georgia would destroy Hawai'i in 2007:

Our offense is more similar to OU, Mizzou, OKST and WVU. We are running spread/air raid concepts with better athletes than have ever been in this kind of system before.
The system doesn't get drafted, the player does. Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan didn't get recruited to bigger schools for many reasons.

What about all the WR's that have come out of similar systems? Mike Evans, Crabtree, Blackmon, Dez Bryant, Wes Welker, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, etc etc etc.
