Got the idea after the Miles/LSU article in the thread below. By my count, as head coach at UGA Richt has beat 9 national title winning coaches:

Bobby Bowden x1
Nick Saban x2
Les Miles x3
Urban Meyer x1
Steve Spurrier x5
Dennis Erickson x1
Gene Chizik x3
Phil Fulmer x5
Lou Holtz x3

what about yall? And I'm sure there's a joke in here somewhere about richt not winning one, so I'll go ahead and acknowledge that yes we know.

Yet he hasn't won a national title even though the talent has been there.

I'm not sure.

There's an informational hotline to assist with questions like this. The number is (272) 427-2427. Give 'em a call and see what the correct answer is.

Saban is the only one so far.

We will add two more this year to that list shortly.

We will also add two Heisman Trophy winners as well.

When you cant win any national championships yourself, you brag about how many national championship coaches you have beaten. Basically sums up Georgia football
