Question: based on how badly aTm came in and 1) Beat USC soundly and 2) mocked Sandstorm in doing so, does anyone else think that this may be a "tradition" on its way out? Especially if UGa delivers a second loss in a week?

What sayeth the Garnet Faithful?

I think it's obvious we didn't play it enough...

I'd hope not, I actually like sandstorm and could care less what the other teams think about it.

CayceCock. I'm sorry bro. I have to do it.

How much less could you care?

Well... we all care a little bit when anything we cherish or admire is lambasted by others out of some sense of superiority, jealousy or just plain spite. But he is obviously striving to rise above that insecurity and not let it him affect him as much.

I'm honest though, I actually lol'd at the A&M after game video when they added sandstorm to the full version. Didn't bother me at all thought it was hilarious.

I still haven't watched that. I was a little too...upset for a good 36 hours after the game.

Not upset at life or anything. I just really didn't like sports that day or the day after.

Look at my sig. ALL THREE of those teams lost last Thursday.

I'll admit I've tried my hardest not to watch any CFB related shows this week though, would rather not see the media talk about our garbage performance & putting us on upset alert after the A&M game.

I thought it was very funny.

I like Sandstorm, and want it to stick around. It was purely a hypothetical question. We've been successful with it, but if for some reason that were to begin faltering, it would be too easy to associate negative thoughts and perspectives with it.

If getting beat down at home ended any tradition we had we wouldn't have school colors, mascot, 2001, etc.

Let's not touch Sandstorm ... but I'm all for getting rid of a ton of the other piped-in sounds they do, and limiting the number of times the rooster can crow as well.

I'm also not crazy about the announcer screaming, "another Gamecock first down" when we're having our asses handed to us in a hand-basket.

Agree on all parts. Except the rooster crow I don't ever even hear except before the game. I'm probably nit-picking, but during the band pregame if the guy that says "Alright Gamecock fans, you know what to do!" could just not, I'd be happy.
