Like all high school stars, he's a two way player. It wouldn't be very hard for you to google Kyle Phillips and find quotes out of The Tennesseean from his high school coach that say "I think he's a better offensive linemen."

Phillips went on record recently and dismissed the idea that he would play OT in college (if I'm not mistaken)

Was that in the past few weeks? He was quoted by 247 in October saying that we're recruiting him as an OT, and he was open to playing opposite Barnett.
Either way, I'm just glad he's trending to UT.

Yea Phillips has said in the past 2 weeks we want him at DE and that is what he wants to play.

Per VQ, Amadi will be at Tennessee again this weekend for an unofficial. Phillips is taking an unofficial as well because he's saving his OV for December.
