I like the name 'The Jungle' too.

It sounds like we will be changing some of the things about the games, like having a more exciting player introduction and maybe new cheers.

Basically, I think Bruce realized we have to tradition in basketball so it's time to impart some consistency.

Coach thinks calling it "The Jungle" is stupid too. So unoriginal.

Well, if that's the leading opinion then let's change it. Maybe it'll be good to start this season with a new name...but what should it be called? The Den?

Bruce is definitely a guy that gets it. I am still amazed by this hire and I am more excited about basketball than I have been since the Porter days.

I kind of got that too and I feel he has heard from students on campus already say they don't like it, which is why he proposed the question.

Definitely got that impression from him.

I hope this yell practice is a one time thing though.

This kind of made me uncomfortable. That said, I'm glad he is here. I know he'll move on when 'greener' pastures appear...but DAMN glad he is here!
Still... kindofuncomfortable.jpg

I love Bruce. Wish I didn't have to suffer through Barbee as a student. Can't wait to see what he does over the next few years.

A poster I've been working on just for the hell of it. A spinoff from the movie.
