So did Arkansas claim the SEC's first moral victory of the season?

They did not cover, they had a first half moral victory.

They played a helluva first half. If they can do that for 12 games, they can finish with a respectable 6-6 record.

Wait...that is how math works, right?

I wish I knew what OP was talking about. I don't see anyone claiming moral victories.

No such thing.

Bert couldn't coach his way out of port-a-John.

No, we got smoked in the 2nd half.

What's more amusing is the judgements being made one way or the other about teams after week 1. 2006 Arkansas got crushed by USC, went on to win 10 straight and to ATL, UGA had a similar run. Anything can and still will happen.

I agree. There's nobody here to claim it.

I'll be the one to give Arkansas some credit. They played better in the first half of the Auburn game than they did all of last season. The second half collapse doesn't invalidate that. So there's real reason for optimism here. Their main problem might be quality depth, which will kill them against speed teams over the course of the entire game.
