Assuming that Florida and Idaho reschedule their game for a shared BYE week, it looks like the week before the UF-UGA game is the best/only possibility for a rematch.

Both teams have an open date on Oct. 25, and coming off a 4-8 season with a schedule that includes Alabama, LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri and defending national champ Florida State, the Gators may be motivated to reschedule to help their chances of gaining bowl eligibility.

But the Oct. 25 open date is the week before the Georgia game, and filling that date would require the Gators to play nine weeks in a row.

Interesting dilemma. Idaho is a D1 school. With their year last year, a loss a sure D1 win could prove the difference between bowling and not - however I am sure they are so egotistical they will not recognize that.

Idaho was going to get paid ~$1mm to play the game. But that is nothing compared to the loss of revenue for the gators if they don't play that game.

They do have an open date on Sept 27, but at this late date could they find someone to fill that gap?

My bet is they play 11 games this year to keep the bye before UGA and avoid playing 9 straight games to close the season.

No fumbles, no interceptions, no plays for a loss, and not even a single punt on the night. Jeff Driskel appeared comfortable at the line, leading the offense to their best performance in years.

Also noticed that the 3 suspended players for UF have served their 1 game suspension.

They should, but they won't.
