Kentucky is better than Arkansas and Mizzou??

Mississippi State hasn't beaten LSU since the wheel was invented. How are they considered better? And they play arguably the worst team in either FBS or FCS to open the season. Southern Miss couldn't beat Hoover High.

They seem to be mixing in rankings based on pre-season perception OR first game performance and chose one or the other for particular teams.

Honestly, I would move Mizzou up...

I think JC Shurburtt took into account that Mizzou struggled against a terrible team, in South Dakota State, for a good part of the football game. They should have blown them out from the beginning.

No doubt. 13 just seems a bit harsh.

Mizzou is at #13. I tend to agree that they should be above Kentucky and Arkansas, at least. Maybe even higher in the long run.

Looks okay so far. LSU seems a bit low.

IMO - Best 2 so far are Auburn & Georgia. A couple of teams on their heels.

Meh... LSU has some legit concerns IMO.

1) Need to see more of Jennings (that first half wasn't great for sure)
2) Run defense is suspect, probably won't face another great running team like Wisconsin for a while though

No problem in putting MSU above LSU for now.
