I never got it.
I watched some of his games in H.S. By no means was he a lights out linebacker, but he wouldn't have problems filling his assignment, and stepping up to make a hit.
It always baffled me.

Yeah against reasons like Thompson (my old high school) where the players are undersized. Its a lot different future NFL rbs and te.

We used to say the same joke about him. He showed so much promise his Fr year. After the Reggie Nelson put him on his arse he never recovered. Today Nelson would be ejected, but at the time I said to myself, "he aint gonna get up".
