Aggies, Kenny Hill appears to be the guy...who do you lose Allen or Murray?

With Hill being there for the next couple years, you likely will lose one or potentially both Kyle Allen Kyler Murray. Does Allen transfer or does Murray decommit?

Not sure why you are laughing. Its a legit question. Can only play 1 QB at a time.

There's gonna be a logjam for sure, I assume Allen would transfer before Murray with Murray's legacy connection to A&M.

Top rated QBs don't like to sit on the bench

Hopefully neither but...

I would guess Allen, he's too good to be a backup and he's from out of state. Murray will be a fish when Kenny is a JR. It sets up perfectly for him.

I'd guess Allen. QB logjams almost always result in transfers. Multiple transfers in a case like FSU.

If Allen gets out now he can play next year for Baylor without sitting out.

You never know, only one game for Hill, but looks like it, and what is the story on Hill's baseball ambitions?

Kyler comes in and red-shirts for a year. Will keep Kyle Allen as Hill's backup (assuming no career ending injuries or extreme downgrade of ability until then).

The next season, whoever wins the back-up role between Allen and Murray will stay. The other gone. That's my hopes anyways.

It's really not. We have played 1 game.

And Hill is older than both and QBs usually sit the bench for a year or two at minimum at every program. Murray is a legacy that committed knowing full well someone, whether Hill or Allen, was going to be a returning starter.

If Hill is all that, he's got an NFL arm so he's going pro after next year. That would mean Allen and Murray will compete for a job as a JR vs SO/RFR. Don't see an issue.

What's funny?

Happens to teams every year.

Ok, bud. While you may be correct, it's still a legit question. 4 and 5 star talent want to play, and they don't want to wait.

It happens to teams all the time.

Don't know. Probably Allen unfortunately. Unless he wants to fight it out with Kyler in two years, graduate, so he can have two years somewhere else.

he decided not to play this year to compete for the QB job in the spring. He officially redshirted in baseball. He's a 3rd baseman so much easier to just go play this spring. He's very good but a can't miss type prospect there. I think he'll probably play this spring, at least some.

because kyler is probably going to redshirt. lets say Kenny hill is the truth and he leaves for the NFL after next year. then in kylers red shirted freshman year and kyles junior year the spot will be up for grabs. if kyler wins the job then yea kyle may look elsewhere but if kyle wins the job, he will have two more years of eligibility and then kyler will take over as a red shirted junior and he will have two years of eligibility to start. there is a very plausible scenario in which a&m can have a logjam but not have to deal with QBs leaving

That's what you wish would happen. Very small chance Allen stays. But what does it matter Hill is awesome.
