About to go on a rant here, hold onto your hats...

Yall spend an entire offseason and several threads on this board jerking off to the best line backing crew in the country, featuring Jenkins, Wilson, Floyd, and the freshman phenom boy wonder Carter (who is not a starter). I'm not saying he won't be an amazing player or won't get PT, but he hasn't even stepped onto the field for us yet. Now amid all this hype, we've forgotten the man who was the team defensive MVP last season. The man who has anchored the middle for us for 30 starts. The man who always seems to be there with a big play when we need it, and is now is a critical senior leader to the defense and entire team. That man is Amarlo MFing Herrera, and he deserves more recognition. I hope he has a huge game on Saturday.

Go Dawgs, beat Clemson

Good rant and i like him. But David Andrews is the guy on offense too. He's solid, and the true X factor on o this season.

I realize you're talking about just D. But Andrews is more important than Herrera.

Marshall Morgan. All he does is bury 50+ yard field goals. Will probably be the difference in the Clemson game.
